Dr. Peter J. Morse, DMD
Dr. Morse received his BS degrees from the United States Naval Academy and the University of Oregon. He has a Masters from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and his DMD degree is from Oregon Health & Science University, School of Dentistry.
He regularly attends advanced-practice continuums and continuing education programs in order to provide his patients with the best, most up-to-date dental treatment possible. Dr. Morse shares our practice philosophy of providing high-quality dental care in a gentle and efficient manner. Dr. Morse’s desire is to provide high-quality dental care in a gentle, caring, and efficient manner.
Dr. Morse was raised in Albany, OR and is proud to call Albany his home. He is active in the community, with his kid’s sports, and passionate about public education. He feels fortunate to be raising his kids here in Albany with lots of family and friends around. He has enjoyed being back in his hometown community and feels fortunate that he and his wife Molly, can give their kids Wyatt and Paige a stable environment where they can grow up and flourish.
Dr. Morse was appointed to the United States Naval Academy, Class of 1991. He retired as a Navy Reservist pilot in 2021. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking, rafting, and camping as well as watching and playing sports. Dr. Morse volunteers his time with the Greater Albany Public Schools School Board as well as supporting the Vets Helping Vets organization by providing care to veterans. He is an active member in the dental community and is a member of the ADA Southern Willamette Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Society.

Dr. Austin E. Weichlein, DMD
Austin E. Weichlein, DMD grew up in Damascus, Oregon. He graduated with honors from Oregon State University with a degree in Bio-Health Sciences and Business Administration. Dr. Weichlein graduated with his dental degree from Oregon Health & Sciences University.
Dr. Weichlein knew he wanted to be a dentist at a young age. Having grown up with a severe speech impediment and significant underbite, he felt very self conscious as a child. Having gone through years of orthodontic treatment (including headgear) and speech language therapy, Dr. Weichlein overcame the burden he felt as a child and his self-esteem was positively cured. This experience influenced him to pursue a career in dentistry in order to help his patients overcome some of the same difficulties he experienced as a child. Having this personal connection to dentistry, Dr. Weichlein has been able to dive head-first into the profession in order to ensure his patients are offered the highest standard of care with an emphasis on empathy and compassion. Having gone through the difficulties of extensive orthodontic treatment, Dr. Weichlein has retained an American Academy of Clear Aligners membership and actively treats orthodontic cases in his practice for both malocclusion and restorative purposes. Dr. Weichlein routinely pursues additional continuing education in orthodontic treatment in order to be on the cutting edge. Although he has a passion for orthodontic cases; his love for everything dentistry encouraged him to pursue a career in general dentistry - as he enjoys all facets of care and enjoys comprehensive multidisciplinary cases in order to ensure the best clinical outcome for all of his patients.
In addition to the AACA, Dr. Weichlein maintains memberships in the American Academy of General Dentists, the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the American Dental Association.
When not working Dr. Weichlein can be found spending time with his wife Melanie and their two dogs Stanley and Sampson. They are very excited to be expecting their first baby, a little girl in November. They enjoy paddle boarding, traveling far and wide, watching scary movies, and golfing - though you won’t find either of them shooting birdies.
Roberta, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Roberta has been working with the Elm Street Dental Team since 1998. She graduated from Mount Hood Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program in 1983.
She enjoys getting to know patients and making them feel welcome and comfortable. She is dedicated to providing quality, up-to-date dental care. She has endorsements in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide and is certified in Advance Laser Periodontal Therapy. Her goal is to educate patients about the direct relationship between oral health and overall well-being, enhancing their quality of life.
Roberta lives locally with her husband Les. She enjoys baking, woodworking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Brittany, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Brittany began working at Elm Street Dental in December 2009 as a Sterilization Technician. She was inspired to return to school and graduated from The Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in March 2013. Brittany returned to Elm Street Dental as a hygienist in December 2013. She is also certified in advanced laser periodontal therapy.
Brittany strongly believes that oral health has a significant role in our bodies overall well-being. She is passionate about patient education and meeting individual patients’ needs to make their dental experiences as comfortable as possible.
Brittany and her husband live in the area and stay busy with their two children. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cooking, and exploring the outdoors with family and their two dogs.
Madie, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Madie joined our dental team in 2023 after graduating from the Oregon Tech Dental Hygiene program. She is certified in advanced laser periodontal therapy and has an expanded practice dental hygiene permit. She is patient-focused and driven to provide a personable experience along with the highest quality of care. Madie makes patients feel comfortable during their dental visits and designs homecare strategies to help patients maintain their dental health between professional cleanings.
In her spare time, Madie enjoys spending time with her horses and Australian Shepherds on their farm in Albany. Madie is a new mom to a son and will be on maternity leave until September.
Carmen, RDH
Part-Time Hygienist
Carmen graduated from the dental hygiene program at Lane Community College in 1993. She has been working as a hygienist in the Willamette Valley for over 30 years, joining our team as a part-time hygienist in 2022. She loves helping our patients improve their oral health.
Carmen enjoys traveling and spending time with her four grandchildren.
Ruthie, CDA, EFDA, EFODA
Dental Assistant
Ruthie graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Linn-Benton Community College in 2003. She joined our team in 2015. Ruthie enjoys working in a family-oriented practice where she can get to know the patients, make meaningful connections, and see them on a regular basis.
Her three children keep her very busy. She enjoys attending their sporting events, hanging out with friends and family and with the little free time she has she loves to run.
Jillian, CDA, EFDA
Dental Assistant
Jillian was born and raised in Lebanon. She graduated from Linn Benton Community College in 1997. She has been with our team since 2021. One of her favorite things about being a dental assistant is helping patients feel comfortable during treatments.
She and her husband have two children she loves spending quality time with. Some of her hobbies include listening to music, traveling and discovering new places, camping, trying new foods, boating, and riding ATVs in the woods, snow, and sand.

Dental Assistant
Julie graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Linn-Benton Community College in 1997. She joined our Elm Street Team in 2021. She enjoys working with her patients, treating them as family and helping them feel comfortable at the dental office so they can get a smile they enjoy showing off.
Julie has an adult son and several nieces and nephews. She loves spending time with family and friends. Julie also enjoys spending time with her dogs and enjoys hiking.

Dental Assistant
Storm graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Linn-Benton Community College in 2020. She was excited to join our Elm Street Team in 2022 after doing her practicum with us in 2020. Storm enjoys working in a family practice, especially, being able to see and treat the whole family. She loves to connect and get to know the patients.
Storm’s toddler keeps her busy. In her free time, she likes spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Channing, a miniature Aussie/Beagle mix.
Alexcia, CDA, EFDA, EFODA
Dental Assistant
Alexcia graduated from the Linn-Benton Community College Dental Assistant Program in 2014 and joined our team in 2024. After having a tough dental experience as a child, she got into the dental field to help make patients feel more comfortable and at ease.
In her free time, Alexcia enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid baker, reader, and pet sitter.
Stephanie, CDA, EFDA
Dental Assistant / Sterilization Tech
Stephanie graduated from the Linn-Benton Community College Dental Assistant Program in 2022. Stephanie has been with our Elm Street Team since 2023 and loves working in a family practice where she gets to know her patients personally and sees them on a regular basis.
Stephanie has three young children who keep her busy. She shuttles them to their sporting events, and she absolutely loves watching them play! In her free time, she loves reading and gardening.
Sherry, CDA, EFDA
Office Manager
Sherry joined the Elm Street Team in September of 2007. Sherry started working in the dental field in 1995 with the Indian Health Service in Alaska. She was a Certified Dental Assistant until 2000, at that time she moved into the position of Dental Office Manager.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her twin daughters, gardening, fishing in the rivers and ocean with family and friends.
Debbie, EFDA
Insurance Coordinator
Debbie joined our Elm Street Team in 2003 and is currently working remotely as our Insurance Coordinator. Debbie comes from Colorado where she started as a dental assistant in 1979 as a summer hire for her family dentist. She attended and then graduated in 1981 from Mesa State College in Colorado with a Certification in Dental Assisting with Expanded Functions. She enjoyed dental assisting for 21 years before migrating into an administrative position.
Debbie and her husband, Mike, are getting ready to celebrate a milestone anniversary. She enjoys activities with her husband, three children, their spouses, and growing families. She currently has six grandchildren.
Tina
Billing Specialist / Marketing Coordinator
Tina owned her own businesses before coming to work at Elm Street Dental in 2022, this being her first time working in the dental field. Her responsibilities include insurance and patient billing, team events and also marketing.
Tina enjoys traveling, and recently completed her personal goal of visiting all 50 U.S. states. Her free time is spent with loved ones, while playing board games and cards, watching sports and live music, getting outdoors, and exploring, making everything an adventure.
Kely, EFDA
Treatment Coordinator
Kely was a dental assistant over 20 years ago, leaving the field to raise her three children and operating a daycare here in Albany. She missed the dental field and joined our team in 2023 as a Treatment Coordinator.
Kely enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and hiking.
Amanda, CDA
Patient Care Coordinator
Amanda graduated from San Joaquin Valley College in 2010 as a dental assistant. She was a dental assistant for over 10 years before she joined our team as Front Office Patient Coordinator in 2023. Amanda enjoys being able to continue to help patients in the dental field.
Amanda married her best friend Joe in 2023, blending their families. They have four children (two boys, two girls). Amanda recently became the grandma of two amazing little boys. She loves hiking, cooking, camping, working out, and cheering on her kids at all their sporting events.
Shaina, CDA
Treatment Coordinator
Shaina is an Oregon native, growing up in Philomath. After being a stay-at-home mom for 13 years, she graduated in 2023 from Practical Dental Assisting of Oregon. As much as she loved working as a dental assistant, working in the front office has become her favorite position in the dental field.
In Shaina’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their beautifully blended family of five kids and two Boston Terriers. She loves to cook, crochet, and work in her garden.
